Parent support

Making the decision to connect with a play therapist for your child can be really difficult step. The parent partnership is a critical component of the therapy process. Schedule a free consult call so that we can see if we are a good fit. Ideally, we would engage in CCPT with your child on a weekly basis where you have the opportunity to give a short update on paper or digitally as they are in session. An important part of child therapy is providing support to the parent/guardians. After approximately 3-4 child sessions, a parent/guardian sessions will be conducted via telehealth. This is to support the youth and family as we are a team!

Below is a button to an amazing podcast. This is one episode that highlights how CCPT works and what makes it different from directive play therapies.
